How to Reassign a Job to Another Driver in Yojee TCMS

Easily reassign transport orders when plans change, no need to unassign first.

Overview

Need to reassign a task to another driver due to a planning error or a last-minute change? Yojee TCMS makes it easy to reassign jobs—no need to manually unassign them first. You can do this from the Explore View, Task List, or directly from the Transport Orders page.


Method 1: Reassign from Explore or Task List View

  1. Go to the Explore or Task List view

  2. Filter to show “Assigned” tasks
    Use the top-left filter to narrow down tasks currently assigned to drivers.

  3. Select the task(s) you wish to reassign

  4. Choose the new driver

  5. Click "Quick Assign"
    The task will instantly move to the selected driver.


Method 2: Reassign from the Transport Orders Page

  1. Navigate to the Transport Orders page

  2. Select the order(s) you want to reassign
    Use the checkboxes to select one or multiple orders.

  3. Click "Assign" in the toolbar

  4. Select the new driver from the dropdown.

  5. Click "Assign" again and follow the prompts to confirm.

This method is especially useful for managing multiple tasks or full orders at once.


✅ Success!

Your selected task(s) have now been reassigned. The new driver will immediately see the updates in their app.


Tips

  • Reassignment overrides the current assignment, so there’s no need to unassign first.

  • Useful for handling driver unavailability, rerouting, or operational changes.

  • You can monitor reassigned jobs via the Audit Log if needed.
