If an order has been rejected, you may need to place a new order to generate the necessary tasks for returning the item. This can be accomplished by using the 'Return Order' functionality.
A return order can be created within the original delivery order, which will keep the original item and reference details.
To create a return:
- Open the order you wish to create a return for
- Select the action Create return
- Select the fields that will be replicated (note, leg tasks will be reversed)
- Click on Submit, and the order will be updated with the corresponding information, while the Pickup and Dropoff addresses will be swapped.
- Once you have reviewed the new order and added the task dates, select Save to create the order
You have now created a return order to allocate to a driver to action.
