Understanding Proof of Pickup (POP) in Yojee TCMS

Learn how Proof of Pickup documents are generated, accessed, and used for tracking and compliance.

Overview

Yojee now automatically generates a Proof of Pickup (POP) document for every new order created. This document mirrors the structure of the consignment note (connote) and ensures that your operations have verifiable pickup documentation from the start of each job.

POP documents are especially useful for scenarios where pickup is more critical than drop-off, such as:

  • Export shipments

  • Customer collections

  • Compliance-heavy handovers

1. Where to Find the Proof of Pickup Document

You can access the POP in two places:

  • Edit Order Page: The POP will be visible within the document preview section.

  • Documents Tab: Located under the “Documents” tab of the order record.

This ensures the POP is readily available for operational teams and external partners as needed.

2. Document Structure

The Proof of Pickup follows the same format as the connote, with:

  • Order details (addresses, references, items)

  • Contact information

  • A dedicated signature panel, which is automatically populated with the pickup signature after the task is completed

3. When is the POP Most Useful?

While POP is automatically generated for all orders, it becomes especially valuable when:

  • You need evidence of collection for high-value or regulated items

  • Pickup tasks act as the primary milestone in the job lifecycle

  • The customer is the party initiating the pickup, and a record of collection is required

4. What Happens After Pickup is Completed?

Once the pickup task is completed by the driver:

  • The signature panel in the POP is automatically updated with the driver-collected signature

  • This finalised POP is then available for download or sharing from the Documents tab

    Key Takeaways

    • A POP document is created automatically for every new order

    • Accessible in both the Edit Order and Documents tab

    • Uses the same structure as the connote and includes a signature panel

    • Ideal for export, high-risk, or collection-based workflows
