Carefully prepare and evaluate your orders prior to submitting them to your carrier partner for acceptance.
When managing complex operations involving multiple delivery partners, it may be required to determine which orders will be transferred to your carrier partners prior to sharing the order information. This planning can be efficiently accomplished through the "Plan Transfer" feature available on the Transport Orders page during the order transfer process.
Assigning orders as "Planned"
From the Transport Orders page, filter the orders you are working on for planning

Once orders are filtered
- Select the orders you are planning to assign, then select Transfer
- Select the carrier partner you are intending to transfer the order to, then select Transfer
- In the confirmation screen, you will be able to select the Plan transfer checkbox, then Submit
You can repeat this process for each order you wish to plan before proceeding with the transfer.
The orders are now marked with a "Transfer Planned" status, which you can view in the Planning Status column. Additionally, the designated carrier partner will be displayed in the Partner column, accompanied by a yellow pause icon in the alert column.
Changing Planned Transfer order
To change the carrier partner assigned to an order that already has a planned partner, simply select the order and repeat the steps outlined above. The new partner will be updated accordingly.
Confirming Planned Orders for Transfer
When you are ready to confirm your partner planning, and share the orders with your carrier partner:
- Select the orders you want to confirm and select Transfer
- Select Confirm planned at the bottom of the Partners window
- Confirm you want to transfer the orders
The orders will now be shared to your carrier partner to review.
Tip
For quick filtering of orders with the Transfer Planned status, in the Planning Status filter, select Transfer Planned which will filter the view to only orders with this status.
Remember to save regular filters
Note
Entering an order into the Transfer Planned status will not be tracked in the Audit Log until the order has been fully transferred.
