Provide your drivers with detailed information about pickup and drop-off tasks.
When managing tasks, it’s important to provide the driver with any additional information necessary for successful completion. This may include reminders to make a phone call before arriving, details about venue opening hours, information about loading bays, or any specific notes or references that should be communicated upon arrival. To make sure this crucial information is readily available, you can use Task Notes. This feature allows you to input specific details that will be clearly displayed for the driver in the Yojee Driver App.
Enabling Task Notes
First, you will need to enable the Task notes field in all order templates (See Order Templates for instructions).
In each Order template, ensure the 'Note' field under 'Task Details' is enabled.
Then save your template.
Adding Task Notes to an Order
Now the field has been added to your templates, when creating a new order via Create Manually or Upload CSV the Note field will be visible in both pickup and dropoff tasks.
Enter enter the message for the specific task.
When the order is then assigned to a driver they will clearly see the message on the task card:
