Create and Manage Driver Surveys

How to setup the surveys for your drivers


The Driver Survey is designed to prompt your drivers to answer a series of questions before they begin their daily orders. This process ensures important information is collected, and the responses can later be reviewed in Dispatcher Reports.

Driver Surveys required drivers to be using Driver App version 1.8.0 or above via the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Create a driver survey

  1. Go to the Manage section (Select the profile menu in the top right and Manage)
  2. Navigate to Drivers > Driver Survey
  3. Select Add Survey in the top right
  4. Enter your survey details:
    1. Survey Name (Mandatory) - Give the survey a name
    2. Repeat schedule - Choose either 'Daily' (Survey prompt at the beginning of each day) or 'Per Task' (Survey prompt for every task)
    3. Confirm vehicle - Toggle to require the driver to specify their associated vehicle
  5. Create survey questions
    1. Questions - Enter the questions you would like answered
    2. Type - Either 'Yes/No' for yes/no toggle in the app, or 'Free text' for a text field
    3. Active - Check to display the question in the survey, uncheck if the question should not be displayed
    4. +Add survey item - Add additional line for survey question
  6. Once complete, select Save in the bottom left of the survey.

If you wish to amend the survey in the future, select the edit icon next to the survey

View Survey Responses

Survey responses can be found in the reports

  1. Navigate to Reports > Driver survey
  2. Using filters, you can select the Survey Period, and Driver Survey you wish to see responses for
  3. These reports can also be exported as CSV/XLSX, or scheduled to be emailed (see Emailing & Scheduling Reports for more information)
